This notice describes VaulTrus 0.1.0, an early evaluation release. It explains what is implemented today.
What is stored
Your internal account identifier, name, opening balance, currency, transaction entries, planned bills and income, budgets, goals, preferences, and entitlement status. The application does not link banks or collect account numbers, card details, or payment credentials.
Why it is stored
To retain your plan between visits, calculate date-aware cash flow, show history, and apply your preferences. Each account is accessed through an authenticated identity and server-side ownership checks.
Quick Add and AI
The evaluation configuration uses a simple rules parser; no notes are sent to an AI provider in that mode. If the operator configures OpenAI, the submitted note, currency, current date, and extraction instructions are sent to its API. Your full transaction history is not sent by Quick Add. The application requests no API response storage, but provider retention policies may still apply. You confirm every proposed change.
Usage counts are stored to enforce limits. VaulTrus does not retain a separate raw Quick Add conversation history. No authoritative monetary calculation is delegated to AI.
Hosting and authentication
The hosted evaluation uses ChatGPT Sites authentication and its managed database. Authentication identifies the signed-in visitor; VaulTrus maps that identity to its own account ID. The source also includes a separate Node.js and PostgreSQL deployment path. Security and retention settings for a future commercial host must be reviewed by its operator.
No analytics or advertising scripts are included. The application does not claim end-to-end encryption or independent security certification.
Export and deletion
Settings → Privacy & data lets you export transactions as CSV or your full account as JSON. These controls remain available after trial or subscription expiry. Confirmed account deletion removes active application records, preferences, and the application entitlement. A pseudonymous trial-identity hash and the original trial dates remain to prevent deletion and re-registration from resetting a trial. This is not anonymous data. Provider backups and authentication-provider records have their own retention rules. Cancel any live external billing separately before deletion.
Terms & availability
VaulTrus helps organize the information you enter. Forecasts depend on those records and expected payments actually arriving. It does not supply investment, tax, credit, or legal advice. The sandbox does not collect subscription payments. This evaluation notice is not a completed commercial contract.
Before accepting customers, the operator must complete legal entity and contact details, jurisdiction, age eligibility, cancellation and refund terms, dispute handling, data-processing agreements, and a retention schedule.
